Adopt ’Em All invites you to symbolically adopt a new animal each month of 2026. Along the way, you’ll learn about the animals in our care, follow their stories, and build a deeper connection to the Zoo.

In 2017, 10-year-old Easton started a project to help the animals he loved by giving others a chance to love them too. That project, Adopt ‘Em All for Easton, grew into something bigger than he ever imagined, helping the Zoo care for dozens of animals.
Now, in 2026, Easton has returned as he begins college, to continue the project he started as a fifth grader. Each month of 2026 brings a new animal to discover and celebrate. From majestic lions to the tiny mantis, each symbolic adoption tells a story and adds to the journey Easton began years ago.

Your Adopt ‘Em All map starts as a blank canvas. With each monthly symbolic adoption, you’ll add a new animal sticker to its home on the Zoo map. By the end of the year, you’ll have a colorful snapshot of the animals you’ve met and learned about along the way.
Meet the Asian Small-Clawed Otter
Nestled within the lush landscape of the Lied Jungle at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium, you’ll find two of our most spirited and engaging residents, our Asian small-clawed otters, Eleanor and Bruce Wayne. With their playful personalities and unmistakable chatter, this dynamic pair brings constant movement and energy to their rainforest home.
